Disneyworld is certainly a place where so many people get married each year which is great stuff really, so let's take look at some of the main reasons that people get married in Disney and just how much this is going to cost someone.

The Wedding Chapel

Disney built a multimillion dollar chapel right in the middle of the Seven Seas Lagoon back in 1995 and this is when Disney actually started to get into the wedding business. They realised that thousands of people were visiting the parks for their honeymoon (it is the biggest place in the USA for honeymooners) so they thought they would get into the wedding business too. The first wedding that occurred in this place was televised to make it public Disney were doing this.

Since the opening of the chapel over 27,000 couples have been married here (on average 1,500 a year) which is a pretty amazing figure. Considering my girlfriend wants to get married here it is actually going to cost a bit, we are living in the UK which adds up to more! (we do visit Florida often though).

Magical Experience

Getting married at Disneyworld is something that a true Disney fan is going to do and this is because you can turn up to the event in Cinderella's carriage or ask for your favourite Disney character to turn up for around half an hour to enjoy the service with you. You will need a fair amount of money if you are planning on getting married at the Magic Kingdom, in fact on average it will cost a couple 25,000 dollars!

Although getting married in Disney is going to be expensive, it is well worth it because it is Disney and the day will be great!
